Connecting with others when creating a successful business is essential. I've connected with people online as well as offline and it has made a huge difference in my success. I love to partner with people.

Here are some tips on what to look for when you wish to connect with others:

• Are they consistent?
• Do they share freely?
• Are they in action?
• Are their conversations forward bound - meaning, not stuck in whining mode?
• Do they sometimes form their own groups for achieving specific goals?
• Are they coachable regarding improvements?
• Are they open to new ideas?
• Are they continuing to educate themselves through books and seminars?
  

Remember, those people wish to connect with people with the same traits. Be consistent always. Be accountable always. These two traits will reap huge dividends for you in every area of your life.

Finding the people with these traits and being found by them is not an overnight discovery usually but can be at times based on what people say about the person.
